Daisy is a London based artist, and designer, with a love of colour and all things ornithological. She creates her vibrant artwork in her studio in Clapham drawing most of her inspiration from a childhood spent in Cornwall. Her signature hand-drawn prints are easily recognisable and her bold use of colour has won her many followers eager to collect her work.
In Daisy’s studio you’ll find collections of feathers, antique illustrations, coloured threads, patterned fabrics and many other curiosities. She has a broad approach to her work and works across different media, including hand drawing, acrylic painting, collage and monoprinting. She is a great fan of working in different locations and has recently travelled across South East Asia, New Zealand and North America soaking up the cultural differences in art and design to infuse into her future work.
Daisy’s passion for design was ignited after graduating with a BA in Printed Textile Design from Winchester School of Art. Soon she began working at Hand Made in Britain where she assisted in organising events and shows to promote designer-makers across the UK. This experience at Hand Made in Britain was one of the main sources of inspiration that encouraged her to launch her own range of prints and she has not looked back since.
Daisy continues to develop and sell her portfolio of work alongside freelancing for fashion and homeware brands.
