Kew Gardens

 I recently went to Kew, Royal Botanic Gardens, London. Spring is such a lovely time to visit, we went on a bit of a grey day but the gardens are still bursting with colour!

London Wetlands Centre

I spent bank holiday Monday at the Wetlands Centre in Barnes, London. Fascinating birds everywhere you look and a relaxing environment to be in.

Weekend Walk

Last weekend I went on a long walk with a few friends, we went the scenic route from Crystal Palace to Dulwich. I held everyone up trying out my new zoom lens. This week I've been working on new art from the photos I took, I'll post progress shots soon.

Adele Mildred

The talented Adele Mildred has a show on at the last tuesday society in Hackney at the moment. I went to the private view last night so here is a small peak of the quirky and beautifully drawn illustrations that were on display. If you find yourself in london in the next week check it out!

Winter Walk

I took these photos at the weekend on a long walk with fellow studio artist and friend Helen Friel. We walked from Richmond Park to Clapham, via Barnes and along past the Thames at Putney.

This week I did a new piece of work 'Fallow Deer'. This is the art in progress whilst I am working on it. You can see how I like to work - surrounded by my pencils, pastels and paints.
