WHAT ARE WE ABOUT?
TEMPEST APPAREL is a young British print-inspired brand, focused on individual design with a vintage feel, that combines fresh style with easy to wear t-shirts and tanks. Tempest Apparel also design a whole range of artwork and delights. We believe that life is for enjoying and have created a fun brand that aims to enchant, entertain and inspire...

...The signature of the company is to liven up the plain white tee; like a blank canvas cries out to be painted, a white tee craves to be embellished, decorated and printed on.

WHO ARE WE? Daisy Tempest is the print designer behind the company, inspired by music, old cameras, space, birds, lakes, uplifting catch phases and encyclopedias. All of our designs are rooted in her weird and wonderful imagination and include a fusion of hand drawing, painting, collage and photography. Having grown up in Cornwall and spent summer holidays camping, sailing and swimming it is safe to say that environment and place are pretty important too.

HOW ARE YOUR DESIGNS PRINTED? All Tempest Apparel clothing is printed in our London based studio, they are digitally printed, then pressed onto the t-shirt or vest individually.  The cool thing about digitally printing each design means that once the design is complete, it can be printed with total accuracy therefore no ink is left over or wasted, which can inevitably be a problem with screen-printing. The other nice thing about individually printing the goods is that they have a unique touch and each print is ever so slightly different, a work of art in itself. This is also a nod to the days before mass production and keeps the link between designer and customer.
